Well after attending the 915 Metals Event at Eagles Nest last Saturday

and hitting everything I just ordered my two new Hybrids today. Now I

just can't wait until Nov 14th for the ship date. I just hope there is no snow on

the ground so I can get a few rounds in with them. Will order a new 915

D3 9.5 driver next spring after seeing Chris Welton for a fitting.

                       Cheers, Dave T.

I'm with you Dave. I loved the new hybrids with the shaft setup that Chris had found for me. Can't wait to get them in the bag.  Was one of the highlights for me was that  we saw how great the drivers are, but the new hybrids and the ARC channel sure were great.

It's a spot that was lacking in my bag, however not any more with the 915s.  Sure was an exciting day and even more exciting leaving and waiting to stock up.

    Cheers,

    James

    Hi Dave & James,

I currently am playing a TM SLDR 3 Wood and two png i25 hybrids (17* and 19*).

After a season of playing with them, I am seriously considering switching them out to something that works better for me.  Specifically, what I am thinking is that I might want to replace them with the new 915F - Fairway wood (3 - wood) and the two 915H or 915Hd clubs (17.5/18* and 20.5/21* lofts).

I am curious to hear your specific feedback in terms of which clubs you hit, your feedback, what shaft options did you try out, etc.

If I proceed, I will go to our Regional Fitting Centre in BC and get fitted for them ... but I would be curious to hear your feedback first.

    Thanks!

    Doug

    Hi Doug,
I was just back to the Fitting centre again on Nov.4th and  I have to say that they are even better than I first thought.
I play to Scratch and so not sure of your swing speeds etc. but here is what I found........
I wanted to get newer 3W and hybrid that I could hit consistently and specific distance. I was finding my older 3W and hybrid were costing me as I hooked them too much and didn't trust them like my other clubs. I knew I needed and better  fit set up.

With the 3W I ended up with 915 16.5 F that I will set at C2 in the rogue Black 70 X flex Standard length.  I should note that I am also into 9.5 D3 driver Rogue Silver 60 X flex.
What I loved was that I hit that 16 deg better than my older Cleveland Hibore XLS, more consistent and higher with just the right amount of spin and launch. SOOOOO easy to hit. That will be my 250+ club.

As for the hybrid, I was hitting and 18 deg 910H which I fought the hook on and wasn't consistent. I was fit into MY DREAM hybrid! the 915 H 21 deg that will be set at D1 and with the Aldila Tour Green 85 x flex which I hit exactly the same every time, real high but carried 220 and rolled to about 230. The tour green shaft is a bit stiffer tip than the rogue and hence NO HOOK for me and no second guessing.
Here's the awesome fitting part....Chris found I thinned them so he put me in a .5" longer shaft so it would bottom out properly and BOOM! There's my dream hybrid.  Worth the 1.5 hr drive to get there (reason # 80 lol)

I still hit a 3 iron and  4 iron (215 and 202 respectively) so I now feel there is no par 4 tee shot, no par 5 go for it, and no long par 3 shot into wind or not that I can't cover and score on.

needless to say getting fit by Chris at the Titleist fitting centre after already hitting them at the Titleist day was awesome.

Long story short, these clubs launch much better for me, carry great for me, and hold the line and as advertised VERY forgiving.

    Hope that helps.
    All the best.
    James
