Golf Statistics You Should Be Tracking

From Mark Blackburn On July 23, 2024

On the PGA Tour, ShotLink tracking and Strokes Gained data are making it possible to dissect how players perform in infinite detail. This data allows tour players and their coaches to quickly identify... weak areas of their games and build training and practice programs to strengthen and improve those weaknesses. But what if you're not a tour player whose every shot is recorded and scrutinized? As Titleist staff member Justin Parsons shares in this video, recent technological advances are making it easier and easier for amateurs to track their own on-course performance. But even if you don't have access to shot-tracking tech, there are easy ways to track some high-level stats that will help you practice in a more targeted way. And practicing with purpose will put you on a faster track to shooting lower scores.
