As a concerned stakeholder, Acushnet Company submitted the following response to the Governing Bodies regarding their Research Topics – Areas of Interest that published on February 1, 2021. 

Acushnet’s response to three Notice and Comment proposals, expressing how they would disrupt a healthy game by rolling back equipment performance and negatively impacting all levels of play.

Acushnet reviewed the USGA and R&A's published Distance Insights Report, and concluded there was no foundation for the Governing Bodies to issue Notice and Comments or Areas of Interest.
