Hear From the Experts: Stephanie Luttrell

For over seventeen years, Stephanie Luttrell has played a key role in innovating and elevating Titleist drivers, fairway metals and hybrids. She currently serves as the Director of Titleist Metalwood Product Development, where she led efforts to bring TSi and TSR Metals to market. At the time of this writing, Stephanie has been credited with over 50 Patents/Applications related to golf club design and technology.

Stephanie was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. From early childhood she had a strong interest in science, math and understanding "how things work". She grew up in an athletic family and was exposed to a variety of sports, including basketball, softball and swimming, but at age 14 she found her true passion when she played golf for the first time.

Stephanie attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. A first-year walk-on, she went on to play four years of collegiate golf. After graduation, she pursued a career in the golf industry, fusing her love of science with her love of golf.  Prior to joining Titleist in 2007, she conducted Motion Capture Research and worked on Tour Design and Product Development teams for competitor golf companies.

Stephanie now lives in Carlsbad, CA with her husband, Aaron Luttrell, who is the Product Marketing Manager for Vokey Wedges. They are proud Dog Parents to a Cavapoo named Siri.
