RCT Golf Balls

Developed by Titleist Golf Ball R&D engineers, Radar Capture Technology (RCT^®) significantly enhances the capture of golf ball launch data in an indoor environment. RCT works through radar reflective technology in which a unique radar reflective mark is applied on the casing layers of Titleist Pro V1^®, Pro V1x^® and Pro V1x Left Dash and AVX^®. RCT allows radar-based launch monitors to measure, not estimate, spin on shots hit indoors. 


Why is spin such an important factor? Because radar-based launch monitors use spin rate to predict and plot flight, peak height, carry, roll, and total distance. With RCT technology, precise indoor data capture of spin rate increases to over 99%. The result is more accurate total flight data, which leads to more appropriate fitting recommendations, more useful training feedback for golfers and coaching plans that are based in fact. In short, a truer, straighter road to better golf.



All RCT ball models conform with USGA and R&A rules. They are constructed with the same design, quality and performance as stock Pro V1^®, Pro V1x^® and Pro V1x Left Dash and AVX^® and they deliver identical performance. RCT models can certainly be played outdoors, but the embedded technology of RCT is engineered specifically to capture golf ball spin data indoors and is not needed in the outdoor environment.
