Richard Landers

This was my last round at my home course because of an upcoming relocation to New York. My group and I were regulars on the weekend and typically had the first Tee time of the day. This day was no exception. We play at a quick pace. The day was overcast and hazy. As a result, we didn't get to see the ball drop. From the moment the ball left the club, it was on a direct flight toward the cup. We thought we heard the cub or pin rattle but were unsure where my ball had come to rest. The ball landed about six feet below the cup and finished in the cup. Because we didn't see it go in, it was hard to get excited until after we found it in the cup. What a way to remember that last round with great friends!
