So, I played Scotswood Links in Elm Creek for the first time today and this happened.......please have a look at the score for the 15th hole. I'm not going to lie; it was such a non-textbook tee shot that I don't know how it went in, but it did. I sculled an 8 iron from about 170 and it flew knee-high for about half the distance of the hole. It rolled over a hill i front of the green and onto the dancefloor. I thought it rolled over the green, past the hole. I honestly couldn't see it finish. I looked for about two minutes in the rough behind the hole before deciding to check the cup. VOILA!!! There it was. Here's the biggest kicker..... I was playing alone. Fortunately, the 4some behind me were on the adjacent tee box and saw me pick it out of the hole. So they kind of witnessed it. That's good enough, right? One more thing...... I actually started the round playing a different brand. After the 3rd hole, I changed to a ProV1. I think this may be a sign???
