  1. Came home to a sweet little package from Team Titleist Canada. I opened it up and went right to the course to put these new prototype balls to use. I have been a long time Pro v1-x player but recently had the odd new TP5 sneaking in the bag.

After playing both these balls, I can firmly say the Proto Red v1-x is much improved and surpasses the TP5. I found the spin rates stayed very stable, no ballooning and the Red finally appears to be just as long as the black. Green side spin was controllable and the feel of the ball is now much closer to the PRO-V-1.

Really appreciate this great gift, they will be put in use as I leave Monday for the Mercedes world trophy finals in Stuttgart Germany !!

    Edmonton,

    To everyone:

I finally got try the new 2025 new Prototype Pro v and Prov1x golf balls . And again Titleist didn’t disappoint as tried both models during our golf session on the golf simulator today.

I got a new box of the new 2025 PROV1X before the Xmas which I’ll definitely enjoy using next spring when we are on the actual golf course.

    Titleist never disappoints

I was lucky to receive in the fall a half a dozen of the new 2025 prototype balls in both the Prov 1 & the Prov 1-X configurations. I did a separate review on both the balls, but in summary I see a significant improvement over the 2023 ball in both performance.(distance/feel) as well as longevity.

I felt that I could get more holes out of a ball and it didn’t look beat up at all. I actually got three full rounds out of one ball and it’s still looked almost new until a dreaded pond sucked it up into its

Overall, I saw no negatives, moving from the prior generation in both configurations. Around the green and off the tee I thought it was stellar. Great job Titleist in developing the new ball.

PS Thanks as well Titleist for the winter mitts, I put them to good use in the fall as we were able to play well into November. Appreciated the mitts very much., Thank you.
