Sounds like you need another fitting. You can schedule on through titleist website or through your local shop.

That's a loaded question. Unless there is a qualified fitter who knows your swing on this forum, you're only going to get a lot of guesses. Brock's answer is short but spot on. You can spend a lot of time and money trying to find one on your own, or go to a fitter with a large selection and figure it out in 30 minutes. That's the best recommendation, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Yea, no, we can't. There are as many different shafts as there are different needs for each golfer. What works for me has no relationship to what would work for you.

A local fitter may be able to see if there is a shaft or swing change that will work best for you with a quick fitting. I would guess $50 would be a fair price for a 20-30 minute fitting then maybe a little discount on a shaft. Don't sell the HZDOS short. It's been a number of years since Titleist used their own branded shafts as the base.

If you decide you need a new driver (..we all want one, just not need one), take advantage of a Titleist sponsored fitting for the current release. They will search a multitude of solutions to get your best distance, dispersion, and landing.

If you're serious about becoming a player, or already are, stick with 1 fitter/teacher (for now). Never hurts to go back as you improve, or maybe find a better swing path, or more speed. I'm 58, around scratch handicap, made a little change in my plane, picked up 5 mph swing speed with the driver. Not enough for a new shaft, but trending in the right direction.

Some of these guys that comment regularly can offer a wealth of knowledge to the newer golfers, one of the many great things about Team Titleist!

Definitely get fit, preferably by a fitting location that has plenty of shaft options. Call ahead and ask what shafts they hold for fittings, more selection is always better.

Similar to yourself, I played HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX in both Driver (TSR2 9* - 6.5 - 59g - 44.5") and Fairway (917F2 15* - 6.5 - 69g - 42.5") for awhile. Accuracy was lacking since I wasn't fit for that shafts, just whipped them together to replace prior shaft config.

Just wrapped up the GT line fitting with some notable changes: Driver (GT3 10* - Graphite Design Tour AD IZ-7 X-Stiff - 74g - 44.5") , Fairway (GT2 18* cranked to 17.25* - Project X HZRDUS Black 5G 80 - 81g - 42")

A close runner up for shaft in the driver was the Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X-Stiff - 77g.

Like most have said already, get re-fit. One shaft that's soft in the handle and tip at 60g snd stiff flex,
is another brand's 70g stiff handle and tip.. need some data to make an educated guess as to what you need.

And that's all we'd be doing, is guessing...
Now if we had launch angle, landing angle, backspin data etc.. could definitely make a more EDUCATED guess...
