    I play with a Titleist TS3 Driver standard length Hazard RDX shaft. I want to go to a Driver 2" shorter. What replacement shaft length do I need?

    I ordered a 43" shaft, -2". Golf works club measuring tool gives me a 45.25 " Driver length with my existing Driver shaft/head and a 45.25" with the 43" shaft/head replacement. What shaft mearsument am I'm looking for to reduce my Driver length by -2".

    2" is a HUGE difference. Is that what you were fit for? Why not just cut your existing shaft? Best to go in 1/2" increments, because it's easier to cut more than to add shaft length back on. Also, for every 1/2" you shorten your driver, you are going to decrease swingweight by 2 points. So if you started at D4, you will end up at C6 after going 2" shorter.

    Shafts should be adjusted at the butt end. Take your stock shaft, measure full length and adjust your replacement length relative to the stock shaft.

    This will drop the swing weight dramatically. Titleist won’t have weights but there should be aftermarket TS-3 weights. You may need to also adjust the hosel settings to account for the change in lie.
