  1. Hello I don't actually golf, but whilst on a walk at a beach I found this golf ball in the water, completely fused with a large shell! Whilst trying to research information regarding this particular ball I have been rather unsuccessful, I have found plenty about other similar balls but I thought someone on this discussion page might be able to shed some light. The ball is Titleist brand, with the number 1 printed underneath the Titleist logo on each side, and although the shell it was fused with has covered some writing there is a word which I'm assuming is Trajectory, followed by the number 100. There are other smaller sized numbers dotted around the ball, and the letter R, but after some googling I found that these are just serial numbers and apparently do not have much relevance? I'm more or less just curious about how long that ball must have been at the beach and generally about the history of it Thanks!

Late 80's / early 90's. They made millions of them.
  3. That is an old model 1990's, it is the Pro Trajectory 100 compression ball by Titleist. I used to play it!

    Cheers!!

Titleist Pro Trajectory 100 was the older generation wound inner ball with soft balata cover. They made this one and a softer Pro Trajectory 90. They were around in the 1980's - 1990's before the solid ball, the ProV1 came along in 2000. They were the most played balls of any brand for that 20 year period so there are probably many more that will be discovered on beaches, in the woods, in lakes and creeks everywhere.

That is a Pro Trajectory 100, probably from the early ‘80s. If you’r in NY, it might have been one of Kramer’s.

That could be one of Kramer (from Seinfeld) launched into the water from the beach.

Ah yes, if you swung blades like it did, in my youth, they'd smile back at you on a mishit. Great ball, very sensitive cover. Still have a box or 2 in the Archive section of the garage.
