  1. I am just wondering what these shafts are like, what type of ball flight do they give etc? Have any of you got one of these shafts in your clubs? I am thinking of replacing my stock voodoo shaft with one of these in my D2.

    I absolutely love them.

They offer a good bang for the buck.  They are a low torque shaft, and will feel quite different from the stock voodoo.

I have them in my driver, 3 wood, and a high launch version in my hybrid.  I would say my ballflight is medium with my driver and 3w, with it a little higher with my hybrid.

I would recommend trying them if you can, as it'll feel pretty different from your current shaft.  They were offered as a stock shaft with the 905 series, but I think folks complained about them feeling too boardy, so I think they removed them from the 909 stock options.

    Good luck.

I have one in my 3 wood, it's an X flex and keeps the ball a little lower.  I love the feel of it.

  4. I'm still playing my 9.5 degree 905R with a Proforce V2.  I LOVE THIS COMBO.  I'm about to put the high launch in my 2 hybrid.

I have these shafts in my 3-wood and it is great, but does provide a low ball flight. In my 909 D2 Driver, the same shaft seemed to have a slightly soft tip for my swing and gave a slight fade at the end which I had never experienced with any other shaft.

I do think they are a solid shaft and worth considering.

I have a V2 in my 907D2.  I agree with all the comments so far.  It is a good shaft, but the one I have is low torque, so might not be for everyone.   My shot pattern and dispersion is more consistent with this shaft, but I have lost some distance.  I'm actually looking forward to the new 910s, so I can get a fitting.  Another shaft may be a better option for me at this point.

I have a 905T and it had a NV 75 X in it.  The main thing with that shaft is that I felt like I had to try and swing out of my shoes every time to get anything out of it and I hated it.

I went with the Proforce V2 X in 76g.  It also has a 2.2 torque.  I love it.  I use Project X 6.5's in my irons and I use the same exact swing as I do in my irons.  Before I could not do that.  I was sceptical because the shaft was only 60 bucks.

I do not regret my decision at all.  I am not a good judge of ball flight though.  I hit everything high.  It does not matter the launch angle, I hit it high.  I like it that way, so I am not a good judge there.

The shaft was worth the switch though.
