Hi have an old 905 R driver in 9.5 with a graphite design ys 6 stiff shaft, I still bomb that thing down the middle of the fairway. I purchased a 913 d3 same specs but it's just not the same. This may be a dumb questions but what are the settings to make it setup the same as the 905R, is it just A1? Not long after I bought the 913 my 905R found it's way back into the bag. I'm not ready to give up on it yet but any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Former Drivers:

    915 d2 913 d3 910 d3 905R 983K

  2. Every driver has different technology and attributes...I would recommend being fitted vs. just guessing...

    Good Luck!

If you're killing your 905R, then leave it in the bag and don't look back. I think most of us change drivers just because we want that shiny new toy. Change isn't always an improvement.

I went from the 905r to the 910 D3 and have had it set at A1 since I bought it 5 years ago. I think that would be your best bet to compare to the 905r. The shaft might play a bigger role. I don't believe they made the ys 6 for the newer clubs and the adjustable hosel.

Hope you can find the groove! I loved my 905 but haven't looked back since I got the 910. Looking to upgrade soon though.

I was in the same boat. I have a 905T and kept on hoping that Titleist would come out with something better. I tried all their models But not until I tried the 913D3 was I satisfied with their performance. Well I was wrong. The 915D3 (8.5*) was even better. A1 position. Guess what's in the bag now. 275-280 consistant

    Gareth,
Are you using the exact same shaft and same loft?
Titleist makes very good drivers but for me some models or year are better.
    I am playing a 915d3 and I am very satisfy. Previously I was also playing 910d3, 905R, 983k, 975d,
I skip some model like the 913, 907 because I did not find any improvement over the model that they were replacing. For me the best models was 910d3, 983k,
Sometime we replace an excellent older driver by the new model to be up to date. We should always hit the new model Side by side with the actual driver and if we do not see improvement we never change it.
