TSi2 Driver threaded

  1. Was wondering if anyone has run into this issue. I currently have TSi2 driver, 3 & 5 wood, and 3 hybrid. The fairway woods and hybrid are normal, but the barrel on my driver is threaded. It won’t let my adapter screw drop in without actually screwing in, which in turn will not get tight with the washer underneath the bolt. I can remove the metal washer and then attach to the adapter and it gets tight but when I use the washer on the bolt it will get tight on the driver head first and I run out of turns tightening on the adapter. Thought about finding a big enough bit to get rid of the threading which will let the bolt just drop through like it should. Again, my woods and hybrid do as they should. Bolt and washer drop in, rubber washer is underneath and everything locks in. But for some reason the driver barrel is threaded. Has anyone ever ran into this, and if so, what were your solutions?

Not knowing how the head is constructed I can only offer an opinion. Sounds almost like there is a thread insert in the head which has pulled out some which is not allowing the screw to seat properly. You may want to call Titleist and see what they say.
  3. I took a 3/16” bit and drilled out the threads. A 3/16 will fall through the bolt hole on my woods and hybrid so that is what I used on my driver to make sure I didn’t go too big
