GT “Mini Driver”

    Anybody heard anything regarding Titleist eventually offering a mini driver. Similar to the FW2 version they tested with the tour players earlier this Spring?? Maybe something in either 11.5-12 degrees of loft. Anyone heard anything??

    My guess is that if they were to make a production version, it would be much later. I am sure the focus right now is on getting the GT1 and Hybrids ready for an early 2025 release.

    I have heard that sometime in 2025 there might be something along these lines. What I have heard is that it will fall in between the GT driver line and the GT fairway line, meaning it will have a larger chassis than the fairway but smaller than the driver.

    The Titleist rep said that the GT2 13.5 Fairway wood is considered to be their mini-driver. Slightly bigger than the 15.0.

    The TSR 2 13.5 down .75 Is my mini driver and the ball rockets off the face. Sometimes I just use this instead of my driver.

    My guess would be that the GT 280 Mini Driver would be introduced during the PGA show in January 2025. Sounds Promising.

    So no official mini driver? Just lower lofted 3w?
