Had a fitting at Breakers West in WBP, FL on March 19th with Titleist Fitter Adam Lash. After hitting my current TSR 1 and the GT 1, it was decided to stay with the TSR 1. However, after hitting the GT 1 Fairways the results were way better than my current fairways. I also hit the K Grind low bounce wedge, which we ordered on the spot. The Fairways that I will be ordering shortly are the GT 1 15, 18 and 24 Degree with Fujikura 2025 Air Speeder R2 Flex Shafts. For all you off the rack club buyers that become unhappy with your choices, this is the only way to buy golf clubs.

Couldn’t agree more when not in the 10% that rack clubs are optimal.

Of course, being over 70 and LH - what is this off the rack clubs you refer to?

I have my fitting to see if my TSR-2 driver over 2 years old is still the best fit for me on May 9 Guessing the GT-1 will win. Will also look at a GT-1 3 wood dialed to a 4 wood. Not getting the same separation with a 18 and 20 degree TSR-1 fairways on turf that I got on indoor mats. This fitting will be on turf.

"Off the Rack" refers to people who walk into a store and pick up a standard set of irons or woods with the shaft flex that they think they fit into. You read about their dissatisfaction regularly on this site as they inquire about changing shafts and other adjustments. Fitter put me into GT 1 I5 Deg. set to C3, GT 1 18 Deg. set to C3 and GT 1 24 Deg. set to B3, all with the Air Speeder 40 shaft, R2 flex. this gave me the best distance gapping for me. There wasn't enough difference in the GT 1 driver to justify switching. Fitting was outdoors on turf.
