I am currently a personal trainer up in Lake Tahoe, CA and am a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology focusing on Biomechancis and Sport Psychology. One of my professors who is on the Biomechanics board for TPI , Dr. Hinrichs, introduced me to Titleist Performance Institute when he found out I was a golfer and I have been interested since. I am especially interested because the science behind the golf swing and how the body contributes to it is relatively new to the golfing community and we are just scratching the surface to what advancements can be made as a result of this understanding. I am planning on attending the Level 1 Seminar in San Fransisco on June 9th and 10th and will be hosting Summer Golf Performance Camps up here in Lake Tahoe that will not only focus on swing mechanics and correction but mainly correcting any limitations, through flexibility and stability training, in the body that are hindering peoples ability to correctly fix swing faults. I am also seeking PGA apprenticeship to accomadate my performance training background. Being that I am a young gun, and entering my foot in the door to the PGA, I was curious if any current TPI Trainers or PGA Professionals would feel free to share any advice or tips that will help me along the way?
