From its heritage as a tour prototype and how it performs to the origin of its name and the golfers that will benefit most from giving it a test drive, listen in as our golf ball experts and R&D team take us under the cover of the Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash golf ball.

It always amazes me the amount of time and research that goes into a golf ball!. Makes you appreciate the brand even more. They really are here to make our games better.

Love the left dash. Wish we could get something with this feel and spin, but the trajectory of the AVX. Maybe we should talk about bringing the left dot back??? I have a couple sleeves left, but hesitant to use them.

In any case, love this ball...keep 'em coming!

I play these and it's literally the best ball for my game. They were hard to find for a while but I stocked up this year!

Darn it... consider my interest peaked!
Long time ProV1 fan, tried X over the years but feel apex is a little too high (outside my window) and not as soft around the greens. But now... gonna give Left Dash a look. Maybe extra peak height with irons will create stepper decent angle and a little extra spin could help stick them more.
Would've just kept going with ProV1 if not for this in-depth educational/informational video. Loving this content, keep it coming.
Off to try a new ball for the coming summer season...
    Enjoy the journey!

    I told you so! lol

Just kidding, but it's become the go to for me. It helps the spin on longer shots, and holds the greens fine, just don't spin quite as much as the ProV1 does.

Hey - sometimes it takes hearing from the experts... not just the caddy - haha!

Although you should always 'just trust it' when hitting a 6iron into a 2 club breeze.

Thank you for releasing this. Best ball EVER!!
  12. TLDR: Great ball - my favorite from 30 years of golf experience.

I originally tried the Left Dash two seasons ago because I was looking to get a ball without crazy spin. I am not a long hitter but tended to spin all my shots so much that driver roll out was limited or nonexistent. With irons, I would spin balls back too far or off of greens. I never thought I would like LD because it was so hard, and the "ball fitting" metrics said I should like softer balls.. But I had tried all of the other premium offerings, so why not... Plus the box looked cool. (Ha!)

First drive with it - super long for me, and straight. First iron into a hard green - one hop and stop. Later, wedge pitches and chips stopped perfectly as well. I didn't like the hard feel at first, but it has grown on me and I love it now.

I am not a great player - 5 HC is my best - and in reality, pushing toward being a senior golfer, without time to practice much, this is probably as good as I'll get. BUT - at least - I feel like I have the best and most consistent ball for my game.

This video was so well done! I’ve been a long time player of the left dash now, about 3.5 years. The left dash really fits my long game and I still feel like I’ve got good spin control around the greens. I found out that maybe the Pro V1x might be a better fit based on my low spin on my irons but I just keep coming back to the left dash. It’s just so good off the tee and I haven’t had trouble holding greens. So the left dash is staying in my bag for now! It was really cool learning more about this ball and how it came to be. Great work, Titleist!

What a great and informative video. I've been tinkering with the -dash but with the off-the-tee mindset. I did not take into consideration what I would be giving up around the greens and on my approach shots. I do not spin the ball a crazy amount, but I will be staying with the x from here on out. Thanks for the video!
