Thanks Will and Lisa. Dollars, Pounds, or Euros, the International is always a great event. I have signed up and will try to bring some more folks from “over the pond”.

Hey Dale, signed up today and talked to Chris (big guy) . We will be there to join you and all the folks in beautiful Ireland. Played the Ring of Kerry a number of years ago. Looking forward to this event. Have my lucky shamrock socks (FJ of course) ready to go. Josephine at the Resort has been most helpful. Thanks Will and Lisa for such a great event. See ya, there.

    As a 4th generation Irish-American I couldn’t resist. Looks to be a great event.

Will be staying a few extra days to tour County Cork to visit old home sites. Not to mention love doing a bar crawl on a Friday evening in an Irish city not called Dublin.

Guys it’s about time you got to sample some Irish hospitality.
The European Club is one of the best links courses around and the two courses at Druids Glen are fantastic. It will be a great event and I hope I’ll be able to join you.

You’re all in for a treat folks. Played the courses many times. They are just up the road from me. Make sure to bring extra golf balls for the European club .

You flying thru Atlanta to Dublin or Boston? Best connections are Charleston to Boston to Dublin. Less air time for me.

Direct from Atlanta to Dublin. I thought about going through Boston, but want to minimize the chance of clubs getting "lost" with a connection.

Scheduled to land at 8:45am on the 17th. Wondering if it is feasible to get a round in somewhere that day before heading to Druids Glen. so debating on adding a round that day. Royal Portmarnock is only 24mins from the airport but they don't allow guest play until 12. The K Club is about an hour and there are times available on the Palmer course; just a bit pricey.

Portmarnock is special. You might also check County Louth (Baltray) just north of Dublin. It’s a good one too. Highly ranked in best courses in Ireland. I enjoyed it a lot. You may miss the free shuttle TT is providing from the airport to Druids but you can always taxi there.

Am flying Delta all the way. Have had good luck with connections with them in the past. Am frequent flier since 1986. I would have to fly from Charleston to Atlanta or Boston, connection either way. I will be arriving at 1045am on the 17th and returning to the states on the 21st by way of Atlanta. Am staying at an airport Hotel the night of the 20th. Was advised that there is an event going on in Dublin while we are there. Hotel rooms will be more expensive the closer we get to the event and could be limited during that event. Not up for a round the day before. Playing three days in a row will be tough for me so I need to save all my energy to have a fun event. Have not played a three day event since the Dormie event in NC. Had to visit my pain management specialist after that event for an epidural. Bringing lots of pain pills. Looking forward to coming back to Ireland.
