Yes, and no. These are not raw oil can finish like the OG's, so kinda disappointing to be honest.

The SM10 "Oil can" are basically a copper PVD plated finish. The original oil can was a raw wedge.
  5. Definitely will be replacing my SM9 with a new SM10

“Gotta have it” just like ordering @ COLDSTONE CREAMERY!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Gonna pre order this in the 60°, can’t wait. Love the look.
  10. Any know in the Oil Can Finish will be available in the 58.06 K Low bounce wedge?
  11. I've seen photos online and they don't have that rainbow iridescence like the last ones had
  12. I love the look of the new wedges, but they are marking up the price by 52% in Canada above the other models of the SM10s. I decided to go with the Jet Black instead.
  13. I just got mine today - they are stunners. I got a 48.10F, 54.08M, 54.12D, 60,12D and a 60.04T

I almost hate to hit them. I got the two sets of 54/60 so that I have firmer and softer sets - since I struggle at times with my current 54.12D and especially the 60.08M.

I am also going out to TPI to do the Bob Vokey Tour Experience - that should be a trip to spend 3 hours with Bob Vokey.

You'll love TPI, it's the coolest place!

I've had BV fit me, and what an experience. He has a very relaxed demeanor about him, which should help chill you out a bit... it's a bit surreal and a little stressful (especially the 1st few shots) having him stand immediately in front of you, listening to your strikes.

Have fun, and congrats on your new wedges!
  15. They’re beautiful but at £60 a wedge more than the jet black/nickel versions and £20 a wedge more than raw wedges, they’re too much. £687 for three wedges is madness compared to £507 for three jet black/nickel ones..
  16. Forgot to add pictures - they are so awesome looking - pictures are needed. A shame to hit them :) The fitter suggestion of having various bounces for firm and soft conditions was great.

  17. Added mine to the bag Saturday (54.12D, 60.12D). They're absolute show stoppers and have already drawn several comments around the clubhouse... but they are not true "oil can" finishes. They're a copper version that acts very much like the black wedges do, so I'm guessing they'll wear similarly and won't really rust. Curious to hear how folks manage to keep these looking their best...

It's been a couple years since I've refreshed wedges and gosh, I forgot how I love that new-groove goodness. :)
