  1. My wife is just getting into golf and I'm looking to get her a set of irons. I was wondering if anyone has used the T-350s or T-400s and if you'd recommend these for a beginner golfer?

Other than assuming she is RH, there isn’t enough information to answer this question.

T350 is not a bad starting point. Without knowing her level of athleticism or strength, she could fit into irons or do better with a set geared more to utilizing hybrids through the 7 iron.

If she is beginning, hopefully she had taken lessons at a local course to introduce new golfers to the game. That teacher can suggest a starter set for her. Even if is 3 irons, 3 hybrids, 2 wedges, a driver, and a mallet putter.

I am pretty sure our TT Staffer Lisa is gaming T350’s and kicking my every time I play her. Either one of the two you mentioned in the right shafts should be good for her.
  4. The TT350s rule, there is a reason they are showing up in golfer's bags across skill set levels. Hopefully the beginner can get fit at the start :-)
  5. For a complete beginner the 400's are great but the 350's are awesome if she has a year or more experience...IMHO

I believe either set is a good place to start. The reality is a session with a Titleist Fit Crew member will lead her to a set that will work and should be good for a few years.

I play the T350's love them was fitted for them. Thing is I think they are great for any level of player from high to low just get fitted and if things change later can have them adjusted to fit.

The 350's are an excellent place to start for beginner's. Incredibly forgiving and easy to launch. Pair that set with the Aerotech shaft and that would be an excellent combo.

    T-350 all the way
T-400 is too much strong lofted, most players won't hold a green with those.

T350, but Id really like to see Titleist add a 4th wedge (58 degree) to that line, I know Vokeys are great, but not all players a good enough or creative enough for a Vokey, but a lob wedge would be a great addition. Way back in the day you could get a full set of irons with 4 wedges, it was a great thing

Absolutely, would suggest it. WIth the right shaft as well. A nice lite Fubuki works extremely well. At this point you've gotten something I hope. What did you get her?
